Hello World
July 2, 2026
Every portfolio site has to start somewhere, so I figured I would start with the classic: hello world.
This site is a place for me to share what I'm building, what I'm learning, and what I'm working toward. I have always liked projects that sit somewhere between technology, design, and real-world problem solving. Whether I'm working on a website, an app, a business idea, or a random system that makes life easier, I like taking something messy and turning it into something that actually works.
I wanted my portfolio to be more than just a list of projects. A resume can show what I have done, but it does not always show how I think. This blog gives me a place to explain the process behind the work. Some posts might be about technical problems I ran into. Others might be about business ideas, design choices, school projects, or lessons I learned the hard way.
I'm still figuring things out, and that is kind of the point. Every project starts with a rough idea, a blank screen, and a lot of trial and error. The first version is almost never perfect. Sometimes the code breaks, the design feels off, or the idea changes completely halfway through. But that is usually where the most useful learning happens.
This portfolio is also a way to track my growth. I want to be able to look back and see how my skills, ideas, and goals changed over time. The projects I am proud of now may look simple later, but they represent where I was when I made them. That matters.
So, this is the first post. Nothing too complicated. Just a starting point.
Hello world.
